So, how do you change applications on it or do you?

It runs Linux (cool). What else is installed on it?

It runs Linux - by default it comes with a Fisher Price style interface, but you can enable full desktop.

It comes pre-installed with Firefox, Thunderbird, Open Office, Skype and Pidgin (and dozens of other things). Since I use Google Mail/Caledar/Docs/Maps all I really need is Firefox.

Installing you own software? Just download it and install as you would on a Mac/PC.
