It comes pre-installed with Firefox, Thunderbird, Open Office, Skype and Pidgin (and dozens of other things). Since I use Google Mail/Caledar/Docs/Maps all I really need is Firefox.

Installing you own software? Just download it and install as you would on a Mac/PC.</description>
